BDO primarily processes your data in the capacity of an authorized data processor. In situations where you provide your personal data directly to BDO, the company assumes the role of a data controller, responsible for ensuring lawful and appropriate processing of your personal information.

The basis for BDO processing your data may include:

• Fulfillment of obligations under an executed engagement or the conclusion of an engagement at the request of the data subject
• Consent provided by the data subject
• Compliance with legal requirements necessitating data processing
• Necessity of data processing to address the application of the data subject (e.g., to provide a requested service)
• Other grounds specified by law.
